The Small Transmitting Loop Antenna Project

Have you heard about "Mag Loops" and wanted to know more about them? Or have ever wondered if you could fit a very efficient, yet compact HF antenna into your backyard? Or maybe you've already decided that homebrewing your own is the right way to go and you want some construction ideas.

Well, this site is dedicated to you, the radio amateur who's setting out to construct your own optimized Small Transmitting Loop (STL). Our goal is to spread the word about these small but efficient antennas in an age of small backyards and HOA's. Read over the Ten Commandments of Optimized STL's, check out the builds showcased on the Project pages, and start planning your own STL project.
